About the Employer:

Our client, a Global Market Leader in the Transport and Logistics Industry is seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive for the South East region. This is a B2B field sales role suitable for an energetic sales person with a proven track record in Transport and Logistics.

The Successful Candidate:

  • You have a relevant qualification and demonstrated experience of B2B sales in the Logistics, Transport, Distribution or Parcel industry
  • You have a ‘Hunter’ style approach to generating new business
  • You are experienced using a CRM platform and proficiency in MS Office
  • You have excellent communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills and strong relationship building skills
  • You are an ambitious self-starter with the confidence and drive to proactively manage your own schedule and time, as well as creating your own opportunities
  • You are motivated by a competitive target driven environment
  • You have a full, clean Irish driving licence


As Business Development Executive some of your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and developing the Company’s services
  • Meeting weekly, monthly & quarterly new revenue targets
  • Responding promptly & professionally to all sales enquiries within the assigned region
  • Identifying & profiling potential new customers and implementing a professional sales process to convert leads into new business
  • Developing and maintaining a constant and planned pipeline of potential new business in the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of assigned regions, including competitor activity, networking opportunities and existing customer base
  • Managing a positive working relationship with the all management & staff within their assigned region and promoting sustainable business development in each area
  • Preparing reports and presentations on regional sales activity
