About the Employer:

Our client, a dynamic, fast-growing institution, is currently recruiting an experienced HR Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality HR service across the organisation.

The Successful Candidate:

  1. You must have a Relevant third level qualification in HR / Business
  2. You have a minimum of 5 years’ Senior HR Management experience
  3. You have a thorough knowledge of Employment Legislation and its application
  4. You must be able to communicate highly sensitive and complex issues including employment issues
  5. You must have thorough knowledge and experience of trade unions and Irish Employment Law
  6. You must possess the ability to be professional in dealing with all levels and management and staff

 

As HR Manager, some of your duties & responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring that the organisation complies with current employment legislation, equality and other appropriate legislation and statutory requirements
  2. Working closely with the President, Board of Directors, Project Manager & Senior Staff on all aspects of the incorporation
  3. Liaising and negotiating with trade unions in relation to any IR-related matters
  4. Providing support and advice to management
  5. Fostering positive employee relations and establishing good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Supporting the ‘TUPE’ mapping process
  7. Managing all IR-related matters including representation at third-party forums when required
  8. Identifying, developing and rolling out HR and IR policies & practices in line with legislation, sectoral norms, public sector governance and best practice
  9. Statistical Returns and Reporting to the HEA, DES etc. as required
  10. Developing a deep understanding of operational and strategic challenges and proactively developing HR initiatives to support same
