About the Employer:
Our client, a successful company in the professional services industry is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy team on a 14 month maternity leave contract. You will report directly to the finance manager.

     The Successful Candidate:

  • You have experience as an Accounting Technician/Part-Qualified accountant
  • You have experience in the financial services industry
  • You have excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • You work well as part of a team
  • You work well on own initiative
  • You are proficient in IT


  As an Assistant Accountant some of your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reporting quarterly management accounts and KPI information
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Coordinating the annual audit and liaising with auditors
  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Assisting with the monitoring of the overall control environment
  • Supporting the finance manager as required
  • Carrying out secretarial duties for the Finance Committee meetings
