About the Employer:

Our Client, one of Ireland’s biggest financial firms, is recruiting a Procurement Assistant to help support the procurement team with its daily functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is trying to kick-start their career in procurement. Our client offers a competitive salary, career progression and employee satisfaction.

As a Procurement Assistant, your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the development of requests for proposals or information.
  • Liaising with suppliers- following up on RFPs and RFIs, quotes, and delivery times.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Onboarding of department suppliers.
  • General administration.

The Successful Candidate:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration position.
  • You will have excellent experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • You will have excellent numerical skills.
  • You will have excellent organizational and document-control skills.
  • You will have the ability to work on your own initiative.
