About the Employer:

Our client, an award-winning payroll outsource provider has a vacancy for a Senior Payroll Specialist with proven experience in a practice/payroll bureau or a similar environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Third level degree, Accountancy Qualification or IPASS accreditation
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in practice/payroll bureau or similar environment
  • Experience in Sage Micro pay, Megapay or similar
  • Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel & Outlook
  • Strong time management, administration and good attention to detail
  • Proven Track record of strong performance in the delivery of service
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage a team

As a Senior Payroll Specialist your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation of Processing payrolls
  • Ensure compliance, data protection, audit, and control risk within the role
  • Provide support to clients
  • Audit documentation to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Participate in payroll process improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, KPI’s, budgets, etc
  • Maintain and develop a relationship with clients
  • Mentor of junior team members
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
